ABOUT ME

    Sandy                     Sandy and Crumbie

I have always had Boston Terriers in my life. My family had one
that was named " Crumbie" because she ate all the crumbs off
the floor in the kitchen.  She  slept beneath my crib.  After she
went to the Rainbow Bridge, we got one we named "Boots"
because of having 4 white feet.  Then when I graduated from
college, my husband surprised me with my third one, we
named "Bozo". So I was just a typical Boston Terrier pet home.

When "Bozo" passed on, both my husband and I wanted
another one. We didn't know the horrors of "puppy mills" and
the existence of "show dogs", so we went to the local mall and
got one at the "pet" store. We named her "Tinker Bell".  She had
serious health problems her entire life. She had cherry eye in
both eyes when we brought her home.  We could only feed her
hamburger and rice due to stomach problems.
This was her diet her entire life.

Then we got "Wiggles" and "Stormy Day"  We thought it would
be fun to have a litter, again a typical pet home. The pups all
went to good homes and I used the money to fence in our yard.
Then I learned of a dog show that would be in town.  A friend
helped me fill out an entry for "Wiggles"  At the show, I met
several show people that turned out to me my mentors.
Needless to say, "Wiggles" didn't win at the show.

Soon,  I decided I wanted to breed show dogs.  I was very
fortunate as one mentor, Dorothy Hunt of Personality Bostons,
allowed me to purchase "Halley".  She turned out to be my
foundation brood bitch.  Dorothy took me under her wing and
advised me who to breed "Halley" to.  In my very first litter
from her, I finished my first champion. Sandy Rae's Personality
Panda".  Now I was really hooked on breeding my own show
dogs. This was in 1988 and I haven't stopped yet. I am in my
5th generation now
